2022 Earth Fair
Welcome back, explorers! The Earth Fair is finally here! This Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm the Earth Fair celebrations will be going on at Myrick Park. Strive 2 Thrive will have a booth set up, so please come visit so we can finally see all of your smiles in person! Dr. Barrett Klein will be giving a presentation for the Driftless Area BioBlitz from 1:00-2:00pm in the Discovery Room. No registration is required but be sure to come early to get your spot!
For those of you who are new, or just need a refresher, follow the steps below to join iNaturalist. 
- Download the iNaturalist app or visit www.inaturalist.org.
- Create an account and allow the app access to your camera and photos.
- Hit “observe” to either upload a photo or take a photo of your observation.
- Click “What did you see? View suggestions” and select the suggestion that fits your observation.
- Click “share” and you have created your post!
- You are automatically added to the Driftless Area BioBlitz 2022 based on your GPS location.
- Become a “member” of DABB 2022 Nature Challenge project page to be eligible to win cash prizes!
Prize Details
From April 24th to September 30th, we want your observations of all things nature to help us document the incredible biodiversity of the Driftless region. We will have eight specialized events on various taxa conducted by experts sharing their passion for and knowledge of the driftless region.
New this year! By becoming a “Member” on the DABB 2022 Nature Challenge iNaturalist project page, you will be eligible to win prizes!

#2 Most observations – $25
#1 Most species – $50
#2 Most species – $25
Plus! All members of the DABB2022 Nature Challenge on iNaturalist will be included in drawing for a chance to win $100!
Winners will be announced October 15!

Farewell
This spring has flown by and so this will be my final blog! It has been great learning how to blog, interact with community members, learn how to use iNaturalist, and work alongside Strive2Thrive.
